テーラー東洋からはアセテート・アセテートキルト・別珍といった例年人気のベーシックなモデルに加え、エイジングモデルの新作として黒のアセテートを使った髑髏柄スカジャンをリリース。テーラー東洋では2016年、それまで不可能とされてきたスカジャンのエイジング加工に成功し、以降何度も「黒」のアセテートの褪色加工に挑戦してきました。しかし、黒は複数の色から調色しているため理想とする仕上がりを実現できず、試行錯誤を重ねて今季ついに成功に至ったのです。ヴィンテージでは非常にレアな髑髏柄とエイジング加工の贅沢な組み合わせをぜひご堪能ください。

 

Tailor Toyo Sukajan comes in variety of styles such as shinny acetate, chic velveteen and aging model. In 2016 Tailor Toyo has successfully developed “aging” version of Sukajan after much trial and error, and released many colors but black color that had been considered impossible because of some technical reasons. Having a black acetate jacket turned to a nice natural aging look like an authentic vintage had been a big challenge for us since then, and finally succeeded this year. Enjoy the luxurious combination of the skull design that is very rare and the black aging finish.

 

 

 

 

テーラー東洋の前身であり、スカジャンの生みの親である「港商」の名を冠したスペシャルエディションは今季2型の展開。一方は「アラスカ柄」「襟付き」「両面別珍のリバーシブル仕様」とヴィンテージスカジャンの中でも特にレアなディテール満載のスペシャルな一着を完全復刻したモデル。もう一方は東洋エンタープライズ55周年という節目を記念し、創業から現在まで弊社が本拠地としている東京・両国をテーマに、日本の伝統競技である「相撲」をモチーフとした数量限定モデルとなっております。

 

We have 2 styles of Special Edition Sukajan for FW2020 produced under the brand label of “Kosho & Co.” which is the name of a predecessor company of Toyo Enterprise. Kosho is also known to have given birth to Sukajan. One is the complete reproduction of a very rare vintage “Alasuka” sukajan made of velveteen for both side with a unique shirt-type collar instead of rib collar. The other is an anniversary model released to commemorate the 55th-year anniversary of Toyo Enterprise, depicting the world of Ryogoku district in Tokyo and “Sumo” (wrestling) which is the national sport of Japan. Ryogoku is also a town where Toyo Enterprise started business in 1965.

 

 

 

 

本カタログは背表紙から読むとヴィンテージスポーツウエアブランド「ホワイツビル」のカタログとなっており、チェーン刺繍の直刺繍、サガラ刺繍や横振り刺繍を駆使したシニールと呼ばれるワッペンなど、各種の刺繍技法を駆使した豪華なデコレーションが特徴の「アワードジャケット（スタジャン）」の新作を多数掲載しております。ホワイツビルではヴィンテージベースのスタジャンに加え、バズリクソンズやテーラー東洋など他ブランドとのコラボレーションモデル、そして東洋エンタープライズ創業55周年を記念した特製モデルの発売も控えております。

 

The catalogs for our vintage sportswear brand, Whitesville, starts from back cover of the booklet. Whitesville is about award jacket that features special specifications that are used in order to bring out the original quality of vintage award jackets. As a special edition to commemorate the 55th-year anniversary of Toyo Enterprise, the collaboration models with Buzz Rickson’s and Tailor Toyo are included in the line-up of this year. 

 

 

 

 

スタジャンと並びホワイツビルを象徴するアイテムが、20世紀半ばのヴィンテージをベースとしたスウェットシャツやスウェットパーカ。表糸20番手、中糸20番手、裏糸7番手で編み立てたヘビーで保温性・耐久性の高い生地を使用しており、スタンダードなディテールで長年愛用できる定番アイテムとなっております。また今季は「スウェットカーディガン」「後付けパーカ」「雪柄スウェット」などヴィンテージを代表するモデルや、世界で唯一、和歌山県の「吊り編み機」でしか作れない究極の厚みを持つ「エクストラヘビースウェット」なども展開。ヴィンテージベースのスウェットの魅力を存分に楽しんでいただけるラインナップとなっております。
