迫力ある虎の顔を細部まで描写した通称「タイガーヘッド」と呼ばれる1950年代中期の作品。数あるタイガーヘッドの中でも本作は特に芸術性が高く、虎の頬の毛や鬣（たてがみ）がうねるようなカーブを多用して描かれている。このように刺繍で曲線を表現するには高度な技術と絵画的な表現力を要し、優れた職人の手掛けた作品であることがわかる。

 

リバーシブル面は「シェビーラバー」と呼ばれる絵柄で、車好きな米兵のカスタムオーダーによるもの。Chevy とは Chevrolet（シボレー）の愛称。当時のアメリカのカスタムカーカルチャーが刺繍されたホットロッドなスカジャンに仕上がっている。本作は過去にもテーラー東洋で復刻しているが非常に人気が高く、数多く寄せられるリクエストに応え、今季ついに再復刻を果たした。

The jacket produced in the mid-1950s, is so-called “Tiger Head,” which depicts the impressive tiger’s face in detail. Among the many tiger head designs, this is particularly artistic, using many curves lines to describe the intricate hairs of cheek and mane of the tiger. It shows that it the work is done by the skillful embroidery craftsman.

On the reverse side, it has an artwork widely known as “Chevy Lover”. It was made by a custom-order for a US soldier who loved the American car, Chevrolet, and reflecting the high popularity of the custom-car culture in US of the day. This jacket that has been released by Tailor Toyo in the past, was re-produced this season in response to many requests.
