今回ご紹介するTAILOR TOYO（テーラー東洋）2021年秋冬モデルの新作は、蛇を咥える鷲を描いた1950年代初期の作品。広げた翼の繊細な刺繍が特徴。ヴィンテージでも珍しく、高い評価を得ている名作が遂にエイジングモデルで登場した。リバーシブル面は満開の桜に囲まれたマップ柄。雪の残る富士山は白のみの刺繍で雄大に描かれており、桜の赤い色糸が程よく褪色したブルーのアセテートに映える。

 

This is one of the newly released aging Sukajan with a famous artwork of 1950s, which is an eagle putting a snake in its mouth. The eagle spreading its wings was depicted by the sensitive way of embroidering. The reversible side is a map of Japan surrounded by full-blown cherry blossoms, and Mt. Fuji covered with snow that was grandly depicted by using only white threads.
